Healing step by step

Logging in to this page was very hard for me today. 

April 22nd 2015 I got hurt and had a sprained neck. At first I couldn't lift 5 lbs then it increased to 10 and now I am up to 20 lbs. 

These past couple months have been very difficult for me. I went from working out 3-5 times a week to maybe once a week if the pain wasn't that bad. Even if I wanted to exercise I didn't always have the energy.

 I am now completely out of shape.. I have gained weight and lost a lot of muscle. It upsets me every day. For the longest time simple tasks such as doing laundry or going grocery shopping couldn't be done alone. I was constantly asking for others to help me. That was the worst! 

One of the first couple of days after I got hurt I was at the grocery store. I needed something off of a top shelf and I wasn't allowed to reach up for it. Of course no one was in the isle! What did I do? I left without it feeling more upset. 

I ordered my wedding dress and 1 more payment and it is mine. I decided that injury or no injury I needed to start working out to get back in shape! Slightly over 300 days until my big day! 

I got the A OK from the Dr. to slowly begin working out and seeing what I can do without pain. I started doing some Zumba at home. As long as I don't move my head and just look straight ahead I am alright. 

I took measurements and each Sunday I am going to see my progress! My best friend is going to help keep me motivated and vise versa!
